Can I see my own checklist progress?
Pending work appears on the personal panel of the dashboard, drawing together checklists, tasks and projects with a count of what is overdue. A process page itself shows progress as resolved steps against the total. Two surfaces, one for a quick check and one for the detail of a single run.
The dashboard panel answers a question people ask every morning: what is waiting for me.
Pulling three sources into one panel is the useful part. Checklist steps, tasks and projects arrive from different places, and a person with work in all three has no single list without it.
The overdue count does the prioritising. A panel showing eleven items and two overdue tells you where to start better than eleven items in any order.
The process page is the other view. Opening a run shows its steps, its state, its assignee and the resolved count, which is what somebody needs when they are working through one rather than scanning all of them.
Something adjacent gets confused with this often enough to be worth naming. The todo lists are a separate feature: personal lists and lists shared by a colleague, with day countdowns, overdue flags and an archive.
Those are not checklist steps. A shared list from a manager and a step in a tracked process look similar on a screen and behave differently: one is a note between two people, the other is part of a process somebody is accountable for.
Both are visible to you as the person holding them. Neither requires a permission grant to see your own.
A process where you are the subject rather than the assignee behaves differently. Your onboarding may be assigned to somebody in HR, so the steps belong to them and the progress is about you rather than owed by you.
Read the overdue count before the total. A long list with nothing overdue is a normal week, and treating it as a backlog wastes the morning.
