Questions people ask
Is arriving exactly at the shift start late?
No. Arriving at 09:00 for a 09:00 shift is zero minutes late, and so is arriving at the last minute of the grace period. Late starts one minute after grace ends.
Why measure against an assigned shift rather than one office start time?

Does early arrival bank credit against a late day?
Not here. Early arrival reads as zero late minutes and nothing more. Offsetting one against the other is a policy choice, and a calculator should not make it for you.
