2027 company holiday calendar template
A company holiday calendar lists every day in 2027 your business closes or runs on reduced cover, so your team can plan leave around it and managers can plan work. This template gives you all 12 months of 2027 with the weekdays already in place, a line under each month for its holidays, and a holiday list you can send out as the official version.

What to put in each blank
- [LOCATIONS OR TEAMS]
- Say who the calendar covers. A company with sites in two countries usually needs a calendar per site.
- [HOLIDAY DATES]
- Write the dates of that month's holidays next to the month, such as 1, 25. Circle or bold them in the grid once printed.
- [HOLIDAY NAME]
- Use the holiday's usual local name, or a plain label like 'Company day' for a closure of your own.
- [COVER PLAN]
- Name who covers essential work on that day, or write 'none needed'. Support desks and on-call rotas need this line most.
- [FLOATING DAYS]
- Give the number of holidays a person may pick for themselves, if you offer any. Write 0 if you don't.
- [WEEKEND RULE]
- State what happens when a holiday lands on a Saturday or Sunday: the Friday before, the Monday after, or no replacement.
- [PUBLISH DATE]
- Record the day you sent the calendar out. Later changes then read as changes, not as a second version nobody saw.
Before you send it
- Check each date against an official source for every location you cover. Some holidays move each year with a lunar or religious calendar and are only confirmed close to the date.
- Publish once, then treat changes as announcements with a new publish date. Two copies of the calendar in circulation means half the team plans around the wrong one.
- Mark the holidays in whatever your team uses to book leave and plan work, not only on this page. A holiday missing from the capacity plan gets work scheduled on it.
- Decide the weekend rule before the year starts. Arguing about a Saturday holiday in the week it happens is the worst time to set policy.
