How do I switch to PeopleMuster from Zoho People?
Switching from Zoho People to PeopleMuster starts with three lists: your people, your leave types with balances, and your projects. PeopleMuster loads them with you during setup, or you upload them through its CSV importer. Every module is included at $3 per person per month, from the first person, and your first 14 days are free with no card.
Zoho People sells five paid editions: Essential HR, Professional, Premium, Enterprise and People Plus. Its own pricing page, read on 24 September 2026, sets prices per region, and its paid plans need at least five users.
PeopleMuster has one price and no edition to pick. You pay $3 per person per month for attendance, leave, timesheets, the capacity plan, projects and clients, with no base fee on top.
Your project data keeps its shape. Zoho People's timesheets model jobs, projects and clients with billable flags. In PeopleMuster you get client records with their contacts. Your projects keep a billable flag and a fixed-price or hourly flag, and hours log against each one.
Your people come across with departments, titles and reporting lines. The org chart draws itself from the reports-to field, so you don't redraw it by hand.
Leave types arrive with their annual quotas and their paid, unpaid or encashable flags. Each person's balance for the year lands in your quota grid, one cell per person and leave type.
Pick a clean start date, such as the first day of a month. Take balances as they stand that morning, and nobody's half-used month gets counted twice.
From your first week, approved leave clears the capacity plan straight away, because leave and delivery share one database. Timesheets feed utilisation by person, project and department, and you can send that report to Slack from the reports screen.
Before you close the old account, save a copy of its records with your other company files. You'll want it the first time someone asks about last year.
