How do I switch to PeopleMuster from Resourceinn?
Switching from Resourceinn to PeopleMuster takes four steps. Load your people and leave balances, set your shifts, connect your attendance terminal, then map each device user to a person. PeopleMuster does the data load with you during setup, or you use its CSV importer. The price is published: $3 per person per month, every module included.

Your people and leave come first. Load each person with their department, title and manager, then your leave types with their annual quotas. Paid, unpaid and encashable flags sit on each type, and a work-from-home allowance can be its own leave type with a quota.
Shifts come before attendance. Each named shift has a time window, such as 10:00 to 19:00, and each person is assigned one. Your late minutes and on-time rate are measured against that window.
If your office runs a ZKTeco fingerprint terminal, PeopleMuster connects to it by its IP address on your local network. It pulls your new punches over TCP port 4370 every 30 minutes on weekdays. Nothing is installed on the device.
A mapping screen links each device user to a person in PeopleMuster. You see a count of anyone still unmapped, and a Refresh Device button reads the latest list from the terminal. Fingerprints stay on the terminal; PeopleMuster receives only who punched and when.
Browser check-in is the second path. An admin switches it on, and your people check in from their dashboard inside a window around their shift. A missed window becomes a punch request that HR reviews.
Keep both systems running for your first month, then compare the attendance totals. When they match, you're ready to close the old contract.
