How do I switch to PeopleMuster from Float?

Float counts the people you schedule. Its pricing page, checked in September 2026, lists Starter at $7 per scheduled person per month and Pro at $12, with Enterprise on a custom price.

PeopleMuster charges $3 per person per month, and the capacity plan is one module of many. Your people's records, leave, attendance and timesheets come in the same price.

Load your people first, with departments and managers. Then load your projects, each tied to a client and flagged billable or non-billable.

Next, carry over your time off. Float tracks time off too, so set up each leave type with its annual quota and load every balance as of your start date. From then on, each approved request marks an L on the grid.

Now rebuild the plan. The grid shows people against the days of the month, with planned hours in each cell and a monthly total per person. You can group it by people or by projects and filter to billable work.

Load bands show who is stretched. Each day reads as under, partial, full or over. The bands follow your team's expected working day, so a shorter standard day moves them with it.

Holidays appear as an H on every row. Add your holiday calendar once, and nobody books work on a company holiday.

Plan and actuals now meet. Your team logs hours against the same projects, managers approve them, and utilisation comes back by person, project and department.
