Can HR requests land in Slack?
HR requests land in Slack when your HR system posts them on a schedule: the monthly attendance reminder, the weekly hours nudge, reports and announcements. PeopleMuster's notification scheduler posts each one to the channel you pick. Employees raise their own questions through the private support desk and HashBot, inside the app.
Most HR requests are the same few messages on repeat. Submit your hours by Friday. Check your attendance before month end. Read the updated leave policy. Typing them by hand each week is exactly where they slip.
PeopleMuster schedules them instead. Each notification has a title, a channel and a type, recurring or one-time, and the scheduler shows when it runs next. Reminders for monthly attendance, monthly HR tasks and weekly hours submission are the kind of thing teams set up first.
You'll know when a post didn't go out. The scheduler counts active, completed, failed and paused notifications, so a broken reminder shows up on the screen rather than in a missed deadline.
Reports can land in Slack too. From the utilisation reports screen, one button sends hours by project and department to Slack. Company announcements post to the channel your team already reads.
Trying a new reminder doesn't have to ping the whole company. One organisation setting reroutes all of PeopleMuster's Slack traffic to a test channel. Switch it back once the wording is right.
Personal questions travel the other way, into a private space. A leave query or a benefits question posted in a channel is read by everyone in it. In PeopleMuster, employees raise those through the support desk, where each request is visible only to the people who handle support.
Policy questions get an answer in the app as well. HashBot sits on the policies page and answers from the policies HR has published, so the same question stops reaching HR every week.
Connecting Slack takes a bot token and, if you like, an incoming webhook. Both are stored in your own database and masked once saved. The whole setup is included in PeopleMuster's $3 per person, per month.
