Best agency management software

PeopleMuster ranks first on published price: $3 per person a month runs client projects, boards, timesheets, the capacity plan and meeting notes, with the agency's HR on the same record. ClickUp ranks second, with Unlimited at $7 per user a month billed yearly.

How this was judged

Ranked on the lowest paid per-user monthly price each vendor publishes for running an agency's client work.

Eight products were compared on 24 September 2026, with each price read from the vendor's own pricing page and quoted as printed, yearly billing first where the vendor leads with it. Free plans are noted but don't set the rank. Accelo and Kantata publish no figure, and Scoro lists its per-user plans on scoro.com, so these three close the list in alphabetical order. Forecast now resolves to Accelo, so it isn't listed on its own. Disclosure: PeopleMuster is our product, and it sits where the method puts it.

Questions people ask

What is agency management software?

It's the system an agency runs its client work in: projects, tasks, time and who's free to take the next job. PeopleMuster adds the agency's own people to the same record, so attendance, leave and the capacity plan agree. All of it costs $3 per person a month.

How does PeopleMuster spot a project in trouble?

Each project gets health, setup and task scores, and it's flagged when there's been no client meeting for a set number of days. The default is 14, and an admin can change it. Admins also see risk signals drawn from meeting transcripts, such as a call with no client present.

Why is Forecast not on this list?

Forecast now resolves to Accelo-branded pages, so it's listed as Accelo. Accelo tailors every plan and publishes no figure, which puts it in the unpriced group near the end. Old Forecast plan tiers no longer apply.
