How this was judged

Ranked on how much of the price a vendor publishes, and then on the entry figure for a paid plan.

Six products were compared on 24 September 2026, with each price read from the vendor's own page that day. Per-person prices come first, then plans sold as a bundle of seats, by entry figure. Trainual publishes only a setup fee, so it follows them. ConvergePoint and PowerDMS publish no figure at all and close the list in alphabetical order. Disclosure: PeopleMuster is our product, and it sits where the method puts it.

Who it suits: A company that wants its policies in the same system its people already use for leave and attendance.
Where it wins: HR writes each policy with a category and a summary, and staff read them in one place. When a policy is published it's indexed for HashBot, an assistant that answers questions like "What's the WFH policy?" from the policy text itself. Each policy shows who last edited it and when, and roles decide who can author.

SweetProcess

$82.50 a month for up to 10 members billed yearly ($99 monthly), then $4.17 a month per extra member. 14-day trial. Verified 24 September 2026.

Who it suits: A small team documenting procedures and policies in a dedicated tool.
Where it wins: One published plan with a clear price for each extra member and a 14-day trial.
Where it falls short: The first 10 members are billed as a block, so a team of three pays the ten-seat price.

Waybook

Core $99 a month billed yearly ($119 monthly) for 20 seats, plus $5 ($6) per extra member. Pro $198 ($238) plus $10 ($12). 7-day trial. Verified 24 September 2026.

Who it suits: A team of about 20 that wants a documentation hub for how the company works.
Where it wins: Both plans are priced on the page, with a yearly discount.
Where it falls short: The entry plan is a 20-seat block, and the trial is the shortest here at seven days.

Trainual
