Do I need to install anything to use PeopleMuster?
Nothing needs installing to use PeopleMuster. The whole product runs in a web browser, check-in included. Once an administrator switches it on, employees check in and out from a card on their dashboard, inside a window around their shift. Leave, timesheets, the directory and the policy assistant open in the same browser.
No install means no rollout. There is nothing to push to laptops, and nothing for IT to update.
Browser check-in is a card on the dashboard: check in, then check out. By default the window opens sixty minutes before a shift starts and closes a hundred and twenty minutes after. All four window edges are yours to set.
An administrator turns the card on in the tenant settings, and can set an expiry date that switches it off again automatically.
The card works from each person's assigned shift. Somebody without a shift, or outside the window, is routed to a manual punch request that HR reviews, so the day never goes silently blank.
Offices that prefer hardware can add a ZKTeco fingerprint terminal on the local network. Both paths feed the same attendance record.
Reminders reach people where they already are. Scheduled messages post to Slack: the monthly attendance nudge, the weekly reminder to submit hours.
