How long does PeopleMuster take to set up?
Setting up PeopleMuster is done with you, and the time goes on decisions rather than software. We create your instance in your own account. Then we load your people and reporting lines, leave types and quotas, shifts, the holiday calendar and roles. Projects and clients go in too if you run the delivery side.
Any HR rollout takes as long as its decisions. The software part is quick once the answers exist.
Your people come first, with departments, reporting lines and employee codes, which is also what draws the org chart. Then leave types with annual quotas and paid, unpaid and encashable flags, and per-person allocations.
Shifts follow: named windows with start and end times, assigned per person, since attendance measures lateness against the shift a person is on. Then the holiday calendar, and roles from five defaults or custom ones built from sixty-four permissions.
That order makes the rest easier. Attendance depends on shifts, and the capacity grid depends on leave and holidays already being right.
Projects and clients come after, if you use the delivery side, and they are quick by comparison.
A fingerprint terminal is its own short job. The device sits on your office network. A mapping screen links each device user to a system user, with a count of anyone still unmapped. Browser check-in needs no hardware.
The modules you do not need can stay off. Fewer switched on is less to decide.
Most of the time goes on policy. Many companies find their leave rules were known rather than written. Setup is a good moment to write them down, once.
